I was disappointed upon arrival because weather conditions were not cooperating with me. Wind coming off the lake created larger then expected waves and skies were overcast; therefore, not allowing me to shoot in the spot I had chosen just a few days earlier. I stumbled upon this rock formation while walking along the shore. I decided to take my chances, set up my camera and waited. Right before sunset skies cleared up and wind died down. Conditions dramatically improved and 20 minutes after sunset I took this shot.
