For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by landscape and nature photography. One of the things I have admired most about photographers, is their ability to convey their perception of reality through their photos.

Somehow, I knew I would greatly enjoy photography, I simply did not realize how much it would consume my life. As I see it, I work to make a living and I live to create landscape images based on how I perceive nature. This is my passion in life.

"I don't photograph the world as it is.
I photograph the world as I would like it to be".

        Monte Zucker

My intentions are not to show the world through a documentary style of photography.

Therefore, I chase a specific quality of light, which only exists when the sun is far beneath the horizon line. This typically lasts a few seconds, or a minute if I'm lucky. At times I use long exposure to saturate colours, or choose a particular lens to create a perspective uncommon to the human eye, to portray my view of reality. However, at times I also shoot in the middle of the day using a normal lens.

According to what I said in the beginning, as photographers have done in the past in a dark room, today I correct and enhance my images digitaly... as for tomorrow...lets wait and see. However, I do not change colours, or add/remove any significant objects.
